Adsum: An artwork for the moon

In close collaboration with artist Eduardo Kac, we helped shape a documentary that traces his poetic journey to create a work of art destined for the moon. From filming at NASA to weaving together archival footage, story structure, rhythm, and tone, we worked side by side to bring his vision into focus. Through the use of Blackmagic cameras, drones, and a full post-production suite, we brought the technical and the celestial together to honor the spirit of his mission.

ketamine therapy guided films

GGemini Studios partnered with a client in crafting a visual companion for his ketamine therapy journey. What followed was a playful, intuitive process—blending color, sound, and layered effects to reflect his inner world. We were honored to meet the unique needs of this deeply personal project, shaping something that resonated with intention while still leaving room for surprise and discovery. All drone footage was captured in-house, allowing us to fully sculpt the atmosphere from the ground to the sky. In doing so, we continued our commitment to bringing singular artistic visions into form, with care, curiosity, and reverence.

“Working with Ryan was a turning point in the creation of my Riverbed  Lectures Series. He brought not only technical brilliance, but a rare artistic sensitivity that honored the spirit of the material. From our first session, Ryan guided me into the world of video with clarity and confidence — helping me translate a deeply internal process into something living, visual, and public. His instinct for sound, pacing, and atmosphere was remarkable, and his editing work transformed raw footage into something mythic and magnetic. More than a videographer, Ryan was a true collaborator — listening closely, shaping subtly, and always amplifying the vision without ever overpowering it. I cannot imagine a more gifted, intuitive, or reliable partner in this kind of creative journey. He is, without exaggeration, the reason these lectures found their voice in the visible world.”

“- When I first started my Ketamine therapy I researched Ketamine videos and had only found a few that were somewhat beneficial. Most were nature videos with simple transitions that were pleasant to watch but not long enough and not the cerebral depth/connection I was looking for. A Ketamine therapy session is an experience that is difficult to explain. It is personal. Each one of us have different needs and concerns when it comes to the "journey." It is not meant to be "a trip". It's purpose is therapeutic. And that means something different to each individual.

I provided Ryan with practically no input as to what I wanted. I think I mentioned a music video and how it needed to not just be a nature show but challenge me in some way. Really no guidance or idea as to what I was looking for as I wasn't really sure how to put it in words.

Ryan had a peripheral awareness of my mental health problems but I never spoke to him directly about all of my issues or therapy.

The video Ryan created was a masterpiece. I cannot express with the full depth of how   moving and meaningful it is. As I watched it I had so many thoughts. How could he know so much and how could he put it all together in such an intuitive way with so little direction? It was everything that I wanted and more than I thought was possible. It made me feel so connected to my loved ones, my past, and everyone and everything. It was not just what I wanted but what I needed. There just aren’t words. The visual art, the transitions, the music, the narration, the timing of each were masterful. Again, I thought, how could he know? How was this possible? His creation, this piece of art, was so compelling, so beautiful and personalized to me.

It will continue to provide so many more paths for my journey. I am in awe of how powerful this is. I have used this video for my therapy repeatedly and it never stops healing, challenging and resolving my pain. It is something I will cherish as a gift of love forever. It spoke to me in a way that was deeply personal.”
